Sharon Ladon Osborne Huneycutt, age 71, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2026, at Alderwood of Davidson County - Hinkle Hospice House.

Born on February 6, 1955, in Davidson County, Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Lester Osborne and Mary Smith Osborne. She received her formal education at Thomasville Senior High School and embraced her faith by accepting Christ as her Savior.

On June 30, 1973, Sharon married Roy Huneycutt, with whom she shared a life full of love and cherished memories. Throughout her working years, Sharon held various positions including employment at Walmart, Hill’s Department Store, and Unify Exxon. However, her primary and most enduring career was her forty years of dedicated service in the Circulation Department for several local newspapers: the Thomasville Times, High Point Enterprise, Winston Salem Journal, and Greensboro News & Record.

Sharon had a deep affection for animals, enjoyed decorating, and was a devoted supporter of her high school Bulldogs football games. Her warm spirit and kind heart touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Huneycutt; her son, Paul Huneycutt and wife Cindy; grandsons William and Hendrix Huneycutt; sisters Robin Beck, Patricia Ryals and husband Craig, and Deanna King and husband Barry; best friends Lori Hege, Gail Oquinn, Cecelia Beck, and Janice Myrick; brothers-in-law Lloyd Huneycutt and wife Sylvia, Clarence Huneycutt and wife Barbara; sisters-in-law Louise McClure and Mary Huneycutt; her special four-legged companion, PJ; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
