Nancy Dee Ferrick

Nancy Dee Ferrick, aged 74, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026, at her home in Thomasville, North Carolina.

Born on October 1, 1952, in Queens, Nassau County, New York, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Cornelius and Florence Skutt Ferrick. She received her formal education at Newfield High School in Selden, New York. At the age of eighteen, Nancy accepted Christ as her Savior and was a devoted member of the Lutheran faith. She faithfully taught Sunday School at St. John’s in Oakdale, New York.

Nancy proudly served her country in the United States Navy, enlisting on July 23, 1984. Following her military service, she dedicated many years to her professional career, working as a microfilm researcher at BankOne for twenty years, and subsequently for the Internal Revenue Service in Long Island, New York, for another twenty years.

A woman of quiet talents, Nancy enjoyed painting and expressed herself through her art. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cornelius Ferrick, III and Ronald E. Ferrick.

At this time, there will be no formal services. The family wishes to thank all those who have offered their support and prayers during this time of remembrance.
