Monica Terese McBride

Monica Terese McBride, beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 27. Born on October 26, 1997, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, she departed this world at Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Monica was a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant who dedicated her life to caring for others. She received her education from Rockingham Community College in Wentworth, North Carolina. Her compassionate nature and dedication to her work were evident to all who knew her.

Monica cherished her time with family and friends, particularly enjoying moments spent with her beloved children, Mallison and Sasuke. Her nurturing spirit and warm heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have known her.

Monica is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Rebecca Williams; uncles, Charlie Williams, Jr., Charles Hayes, and Willie Brooks; and her stepfather, John Henry Scales.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her mother, April Hayes; brother, Terrence (Shanieka); sister, Crystal (JaQuan); children, Mallison and Sasuke; aunts, Rosa Smith (Rasaan), Jada Anderson (Jeff), Whitney (Jamel), and Brittnay (Harold); uncle, Michael (Tanina); nephews, LaQuan and Kamron; niece, Aria; and her best friend, Jessica.

Though no formal services are planned at this time, Monica's family and friends will hold her close in their hearts, remembering her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.
