James Clinard Grimes

James Clinard Grimes, born on March 8, 1955, in Davidson County, North Carolina, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 70. He was the beloved son of the late Therrill James and Peggy Clinard Grimes.

James received his formal education at East Davidson High School, where he laid the foundation for his life's journey. Throughout his life, he remained a cherished member of his community and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Robin Elizabeth Grimes, and his daughter Amber Leigh Grimes. His memory will be forever cherished by his surviving family: granddaughters Carleigh Anna Gordon and Leiya Grayce Gordon, and grandson Brayden Lee Beck.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services held. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his honor.

James Clinard Grimes will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue through the lives of those he touched.
