James Dorsey Dimery

James Dorsey Dimery, born on December 9, 1973, in Lumberton, North Carolina, passed away on May 8, 2025, in Lexington, North Carolina, at the age of 51.

James was a dedicated and skilled brick mason, a profession he pursued with great pride and expertise for over a decade. His craftsmanship left a lasting mark in the community and in the hearts of those who knew him.

Beyond his professional life, James was a man of numerous passions. He found joy in dancing, the thrill of riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, and the serene pleasure of horseback riding. A lover of sports, he enjoyed playing baseball and cherished spending time with his family above all else.

James is preceded in death by his father, James Ervin Dimery; sons, Travis Dean Dimery and Tyler Gene Dimery; step-daughter, Megan; and brother, Dean Anthony Dimery. He is survived by his loving sons, Drew Dimery and Brandon Dimery; his devoted mother, Patricia Dimery; his brother, Patrick Young; and numerous friends and family who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate James's life and the indelible memories he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the local animal shelter, reflecting James's compassion and care for all living creatures.
