Harry Grimes Spainhour

Harry Grimes Spainhour, born on March 13, 1974, in Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lexington on July 16, 2026, at the age of 52.

Harry was born to William Dean "Bill" and Sheila Tussey Spainhour, who provided him with a loving and supportive upbringing. He received his formal education from West Davidson High School, where he laid the foundation for a life characterized by hard work and dedication.

For most of his adulthood, Harry was self-employed as a carpenter. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every project he undertook, earning him respect and admiration in his community.

Harry had a deep love for the outdoors. He found great joy in hunting and fishing, with a particular passion for trout fishing. Riding his Harley Davidson brought him a sense of freedom and adventure that he cherished dearly.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Corbin Spainhour. Harry leaves behind a family who will miss him profoundly, including his parents, William Dean "Bill" and Sheila Tussey Spainhour; his daughter, Ali Hanes; and his brother, Ramie Spainhour.

In accordance with Harry's wishes, no formal services will be held. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
