Gregory John Harris

Gregory John Harris, affectionately known as Greg, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Born on August 25, 1955, in Fairfax County, VA, Greg lived a life characterized by dedication and warmth, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew him. He was 70 years old.

Greg was the beloved son of the late Walter ONeil Harris, Sr. and Corinda Joyce Little. He spent over three decades working at Chick-fil-A as a Manager, where he not only excelled in his role but also forged lasting friendships with colleagues and patrons alike. His career also saw him managing a movie theater in Hollywood, FL, where he was known for his leadership and friendly demeanor.

Greg is survived by his loving sister, Karen Harris Bock and her husband Daniel, his brother Walter ONeil Harris, Jr., and his devoted son, John Patrick Harris. He is also remembered fondly by many other friends and family members who will miss him dearly.

In accordance with Greg's wishes, no formal services will be held. His family and friends will honor his memory in their own personal ways, celebrating the life of a man who touched the hearts of many.

Greg will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering work ethic, and the genuine connections he made throughout his life. May he rest in peace.
