Gary Wayne Misenheimer

Gary Wayne Misenheimer, age 66, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC. Born on September 29, 1958, in Rowan County, NC, Gary was the beloved son of the late George and Lillie Belle Holshouser Misenheimer.

Gary received his formal education at East Rowan High School, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with love, dedication, and passion for his family. On a remarkable day, July 30, 2025, he accepted Christ as his Savior at Northeast Medical Center, a testament to his enduring faith.

He was united in marriage to Donna Melissa Carlisle, with whom he shared many cherished years. Together, they nurtured a loving family and created countless memories. Gary had a deep affection for collecting DieCast Muscle cars, spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, and watching the classic TV series "Gunsmoke."

Gary was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Donna Misenheimer; his parents, George and Lillie Belle Misenheimer; and his sister, Mary Ann Newton. His legacy of love and kindness continues through his surviving family: his son Justin Misenheimer and wife Talisha; his daughter Tonya Misenheimer and husband Brad; and his treasured grandchildren, Autumn, Rileigh, Braxton, and Corbin Misenheimer. He is also survived by his brothers, Billy, Larry, and Tim Misenheimer, and his sisters, Peggy Swinson, Cathy Misenheimer, and Judy Plummer.

At this time, no formal services are planned. Gary's family invites those who knew him to remember him in their hearts and celebrate his life in their own special way. His memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who loved him.
